University Canada West (UCAN), located in Vancouver and Online,
is an innovative, independent university with a mission to provide quality
education to undergraduate and graduate students, a supportive and active
student services department, challenging career-focused academic studies,
reputable and professional faculty and staff, and a friendly student
community.
Our UCAN online community offers a wide range of opportunities,
from flexible scheduling and easy access to real-time interaction on advanced
Internet technology. Our online student community is diverse, with students
from the local Vancouver area as well as distance learners from across Canada
and throughout the world.
University Canada West operates under the authority of the
British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education and Labour Market
Development, on recommendation of the Degree Quality Assessment Board.
